Heritage Survey Training Day – 20th February 2016

Heritage Survey Training Day

Date: Saturday 20th Feb 2016, 10.30am – 4.00pm

Venue(s): Thimbleby Village Hall (14 Main Road, LN9 5RE) and St Margaret’s Church

Anyone interested in learning about how to keep a historic building well maintained, and to spot maintenance issues before they become costly repairs, is welcome to attend this key hands-on training day, which is free to attend and includes lunch at the Durham Ox.

No building knowledge or experience is needed – the survey is about looking at the building and recording what you see. We do not anticipate any climbing of ladders. If you have a clipboard, digital camera or binoculars though, please bring them with you if you are happy to use them during the day.
