Housekeeping and Object Conservation: Training Course

Date(s): Wednesdays 10am – 3pm for 4 weeks, beginning on 16th Sept

Venue: St Mary Le Wigford Church, near the Railway Station

Join us at St Mary-le-Wigord Church for this free hands-on skills course

The first session on the 16th of September will be an introduction and overview, and by the end of the course you will have learnt everything you need to know about cleaning and housekeeping in a place of worship.

This will include not just basic conservation techniques for historic objects, but information on dealing with disasters (including what to do if you accidentally break something), and dealing with wildlife such as woodworm and bats.

Everyone’s welcome, whether you’re from a place of worship or not, and CPD certificates will be available for those who need them.

Includes Lunch and refreshments
