The first Lincoln Co-op training event will be a fun day of condition surveying at St Peter-at-Gowts on the 24th of August, and I would be grateful if you could forward this message on to your contacts/mailing lists.
Anyone interested in learning how to undertake a Baseline Condition Survey at an historic building is welcome to attend this key hands-on training day, which is free to attend, includes lunch and refreshments, and CPD certificates can also be provided for anyone who needs one.
No building knowledge or experience is needed – the survey is about looking at the building and recording what you see (see attached programme). We do not anticipate any climbing of ladders.
If you have a clipboard, digital camera or binoculars, please bring them with you if you are happy to use them during the day.
Booking: the day is free to attend, but booking is essential to ensure that I bring enough sandwiches and cakes. You can book a place via Eventbright here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/lincoln-maintenance-survey-training-day-tickets-17981363743, or send me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know that you’d like to attend, advising me of any allergies or access needs at the same time.
