Short walk to view the Ice Age site at Farndon, just outside Newark, Nottinghamshire.
Meet volunteers from the HLF-funded project Ice Age Journeys who will talk about the work on this nationally important site and describe the landscape visited by hunters at the end of the Ice Age. Also an opportunity to see some of the 14,000 year old flint tools discovered on the site.
The walk will be on pavements/short grass, and includes going up the slope of a road bridge over the A46.
