There’s only a month to go until we hold this year’s Faith in Maintenance course in Horncastle on the 15th of July (see attached programme), so this is a quick reminder to book your place.
This award-winning course aims to help volunteers who look after historic places of worship by helping you understand how your building works, and how to solve common maintenance problems. The free one-day course will help you to:
- Recognise potential problems
- Tackle common maintenance tasks
- Understand inspections and reports
- Know when to call in expert help
As well as talks, the day includes a practical exercise looking at elements of St Mary’s church and learning to identify defects. There are also opportunities for discussion with professionals and other delegates.
Everyone who attends also receives a free copy of the Good Maintenance Guide (usually £5 to buy).
The course if free to attend, and places can be booked on-line here: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/faith-in-maintenance-training-day-lincolnshire-tickets-15978289494, or by getting in touch with me.
