On Wednesday 13th May the Holland Coastal Maintenance Co-op is hosting a survey training day at St James, Freiston, near Boston (please see attached programme).
Everyone’s welcome to attend this key, hands-on training day, which includes a brief introduction to historic building maintenance (what it is and why it’s important) before we head outside and undertake a full survey of the fantastic St James’ Church, all under the guidance of our technical officer James Innderdale.
It’s not as daunting as it sounds, and is a fantastic introduction to looking after historic buildings. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary, and it will all be on the ground training, so no climbing ladders etc.
It should be a really fun but informative day, and it includes a free lunch and refreshments too! I can also provide a CPD certificate for anyone who wants/needs one.
