If you are interested in the Romans and enjoy making things, then why not come along to Caistor Heritage and Arts Centre on the morning of Tuesday 30th December and enjoy a selection of craft activities inspired by the Romans?
You can have fun using craft materials to make your very own Roman style jewellery, or you can use Roman images to inspire your own mini-fresco design. If you are keen on modelling then you will have the opportunity to create a mini-mortarium using air dry clay. Admission is FREE but there will be a £1.00 charge for each activity. The event will run from 10.00am – 12.00pm and the café at the Centre will be open for food and drink. Children must be accompanied.
The event has been organised by the Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology as part of the Part and Present Project sponsored by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Part of the ‘Past and Present’ touring exhibition is currently on display at the Heritage and Arts Centre which is open most days.
Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre, 28 Plough Hill LN7 6LZ is located near the Centre of Caistor and there is parking in local streets and the nearby Market Square. We look forward to welcoming you.
