Visit Lincoln has decided to launch the Lincolnshire Passport in conjunction with the WorldHost Customer Care training programme which is currently being offered free to businesses in Lincolnshire, as well as the Lincolnshire Ambassador scheme which is free online training. The passport will be a document which will be given to everyone who completes the one day customer care training course and will allow them one free adult entry to local attractions taking part in the scheme.
The passport itself will list the attractions signed up to the scheme, together with other local attractions that have free entry. The idea is that the passport holder will take their passport to the attraction, gain free entry and that attraction will stamp the passport against the attraction’s name to show that free entry for that attraction has now been used up. The passport holder will retain the passport so that they may use it at the other attractions on the scheme, until all the attractions have been visited once for free.
If you agree to take part in the scheme you will be agreeing to give away one free adult entry to your business/attraction. The benefit to your business will be that the passport holder will gain first-hand experience of what you have to offer and is likely to recommend you to their customers when asked for recommendations for great days out in Lincolnshire. Also, it is quite likely that passport holders will be accompanied on their visit to you by friends and/or relations who will be paying for entry, as well as possibly spending money in your restaurant/gift shop.
