Repair Projects Workshop – 1st Nov
Time: 10am – 4pm
Venue: Leadenham Village Hall, Leadenham, LN5 0QB
Details: This workshop will run through all stages of a repair project, from carrying out a condition survey and identifying issues in your Quinquennial Inspection, to applying for faculty and making grant applications. Short presentations from a range of local and national organisations will be followed by workshops which will allow you to try out your new knowledge, and the speakers and workshop facilitators will all be on hand during the day to answer any questions you might have.
Maintenance Co-ops National Conference – 21st Nov
From Gutter to Spire: a co-operative approach for volunteers looking after faith buildings

Details: The first Maintenance Co-operatives project conference will launch National Maintenance Week this year. The day will feature expert speakers, maintenance surgeries and fascinating York walking tours. This will be a great opportunity to have your maintenance questions answered and to meet other people from across the country who give their time to caring for their local heritage.
There are a limited no. of travel grants available to help with travel costs for volunteers who would like to attend – more details shortly.
