Grants Workshop – 23rd Sept
Time: 10am – 4pm

Details: This workshop will provide you with everything you need to be able to prepare a successful grant/funding application for your place of worship, whether that’s for repairs, or for a major re-ordering project.

Heritage Lottery Fund: Funding and Support for Listed Places of Worship – 3rd Oct
Time: 11am – 3.30pm
Venue: St Andrew’s Church, Epworth, North Lincolnshire, DN9 1ES

Details: Are you a listed place of worship in the Lincolnshire or Doncaster area? Does your listed building require urgent structural repairs? We may be able to help!
Come along to this free event to hear what forms of support and funding are available. You’ll learn about:
– the Heritage Lottery Fund and our Grants for Places of Worship (GPOW) programme
– how to apply for funding and how to run a successful heritage project
– how to share the heritage of your building with others
– find out about how St Andrew’s Church was restored

Repair Projects Workshop – 1st Nov
Time: 10am – 4pm
Venue: Leadenham Village Hall, Leadenham, LN5 0QB
Details: This workshop will run through all stages of a repair project, from carrying out a condition survey and identifying issues in your Quinquennial Inspection, to applying for faculty and making grant applications. Short presentations from a range of local and national organisations will be followed by workshops which will allow you to try out your new knowledge, and the speakers and workshop facilitators will all be on hand during the day to answer any questions you might have.

Maintenance Co-ops National Conference – 21st Nov
From Gutter to Spire: a co-operative approach for volunteers looking after faith buildings
Time: 10am – 4.30pm
Venue: Merchant Taylors Hall, Aldwark, York, YO1 7BX

Details: The first Maintenance Co-operatives project conference will launch National Maintenance Week this year. The day will feature expert speakers, maintenance surgeries and fascinating York walking tours.  This will be a great opportunity to have your maintenance questions answered and to meet other people from across the country who give their time to caring for their local heritage.

There are a limited no. of travel grants available to help with travel costs for volunteers who would like to attend – more details shortly.
