The George Hotel at High Street, Leadenham is home to the annual Day of Lincolnshire Folk Music, Dance & Song. This year’s event will be held on Sunday 3rd August from 11 am until late. It is a great way of spending a summer afternoon or evening or indeed both! Everyone is most welcome to come along, join in a ‘Sing Around’, attend a workshop or just listen to the music.
Organised through resident folk club, 600 Whiskies Unplugged, by well known folk singer and archaeologist Tom Lane, this free event celebrates the county’s rich heritage of folk music and attracts a wide range of artists from Lincolnshire and much further afield.
In addition to the free entertainment, free workshops are available to help budding singers, songwriters and musicians improve their performance.
