National Archives Research Trip – 5th July

The Lincolnshire Remembrance Project has decided to sponsor a coach trip to the National Archives. Some information, particularly the service records of First World War Officers are only available at the National Archives.

If you would like to join us on this study visit we are going on:
Saturday 5th July departing from Lincoln at 7am. The coach will depart from outside Witham Park House, on Waterside South, Lincoln, LN5 7JN. Participants on the trip will be able to leave their cars in the car park here (it is free parking but you do leave the vehicle at your own risk).

We will leave the National Archives at 17.00 returning to Lincoln at around 21.00.
There is no charge for the visit, but we will only be able to do this once!

If you are not currently doing research but would like to go along for the experience you would be welcome as we will be able to give you some research to do. Equally if you are currently researching a memorial and know that there is information in the National Archives which would be useful please do contact us with the details and we will endeavour to carry out some research on your behalf.

Email Warmemorials@lincolnshire.gov.uk or ring Cath Pike on 01522 554959 if you would like to join the trip.
