The SPAB Maintenance Co-operatives Project aims to bring together groups of volunteers to share and nurture their expertise, so that they can support each other in caring for their local places of worship. The project will also be offering a series of free training sessions across the region, which will include topics such as building maintenance, understanding traditional building materials, working with professionals, project planning and welcoming visitors.

This is a brand new project, and we will be holding a special launch event on the 31st of May 2014 at Whaplode, which includes not just a free training taster session, but a free lunch too!

For further details on the project, and how to book your place at the launch event, please visit our webpage at www.spabmcp.org.uk. The Lincolnshire Project Officer, Stella Jackson, can also answer any questions you might have via e-mail at stella.jackson@spab.org.uk, tel: 07776 156274, or Twitter @SPABStella
