Red Dog Film have made, in association with Lincolnshire County Council and East Lindsey District Council, for short films about the men and women whose efforts were so paramount in World War II. By the Winter Sea looks at the phenomenon of land girls in Lincolnshire at that time. Lancaster looks at bomber command crews that flew the missions over Europe. In addition to the period dramas, we made documentaries about the actual men and women who inspired our short films.
The film will be shown on Saturday 30th November.
We will also be giving a short presentation about our next big period drama, which focuses on the life of 18th-century Lincolnshire philanthropist Sir Joseph Banks. Tea and coffee will be served in the auditorium in between showings. The event is free to attend.
