On Friday 5th July, Woolsthorpe Manor was voted 3rd in ITV’s “Britain’s Secret Homes” series against tough competition from nearby Creswell Crags and Lincoln’s own “Jews House”. Custodian Jannette Warrener says “We were delighted to have beaten off some the ‘big boys’ with our small farmhouse in rural Lincolnshire. We hope it raises the profile of the scientific genius Isaac Newton, but also what is hidden in Lincolnshire.”
Woolsthorpe is managed by the National Trust and is open 7 days a week, 11am-5pm, last admission 4.30pm (Manor House closed Tuesdays). A series of Summer workshops are starting soon and you can read more here.
P.S. They need more Volunteers too!
