Museums + Heritage Awards for Excellence 2013

It’s that time of year again, it’s time for you to have all of your hard work recognised by your industry peers and to celebrate the achievements of 2012.

The Museums + Heritage Awards for Excellence will once again be recognising and celebrating best practice within museums, galleries and heritage visitor attractions across the UK. The Museums + Heritage Awards are the perfect opportunity to showcase your work and get the recognition you deserve! Open to operators and suppliers the Awards spotlight the truly exceptional work that goes into creating first class visitor attractions worldwide.

With NEW categories to choose from, including a special nomination award, the Culture Pros Pick, which is launched in partnership with the Guardian’s Culture Professionals Network, the Museums + Heritage Awards for Excellence offer everyone the opportunity to enter – no matter what your budgets are, how many visitors you attract or how high profile the project.  The deadline for entries is Friday 8 February 2013.

The categories will be judged by a panel of experts from a range of industry sectors and specialisms. The judges will look for evidence of ‘outcome, creativity, relation to objective and cost effectiveness’. Winning entries will show all of this but they will also have to demonstrate something extra – true excellence!

The Awards will be presented at a glittering black tie ceremony on Wednesday 15th May at 8 Northumberland. Tickets are limited so book yours now to ensure you get a seat to watch the Oscars of the Museums world.
