I first began my representation of Lincolnshire heritage sites in 2006 when I was invited to represent Lincolnshire on the Museum Development Officer Specialist Panel. I joined the committee of the Lincolnshire forum as a co-opted member in 2011 when it was decided that members of the specialist panel should have links to county forums. In 2012 with the demise of MLA the Specialist panel was disbanded but I remained as a co-opted member until the 2012 AGM when I was elected as a full member albeit without a specific area of responsibility.
I moved to Woodhall Spa in June 2001 to take up my post as Financial Director and Strategic Planning Officer at nearby RAF Coningsby. Following taking early retirement in 2003 I volunteered for the Library Service and the RNLI before joining the volunteers of the Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum.
In what little spare time I have I enjoy tracing family history and spending time in our garden.
