Heather Arnatt, Voluntary Centre Services West Lindsey
Heather first joined the committee in August 2010 whilst studying at the University of Lincoln. During her studies she assisted with projects at Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre and Nostell Priory and Parkland, NT conducting research around disaster management and emergency salvage plans, to name a few. In 2009 she studied for an MA in Design for Exhibition and Museums and took on the role of Committee Secretary for the forum, establishing a new blog and Facebook page to complement the existing Twitter portfolio. In 2013 Heather helped to organise the first Lincolnshire Heritage Conference which helped to bring together more than 80 representatives from some of the smallest sites in Lincolnshire.
Heather works for Voluntary Centre Services, based at the West Lindsey office in Gainsborough, recruiting volunteers and supporting third sector organisations. She enjoys meeting new people and developing communications, and is particularly excited to establish new and exciting ways to talk about the Heritage Forum.
Away from the day job, Heather continues her conservation and restoration work purchasing and restoring vintage clothing. You can read her blog here.
