Introducing: Jackie Goodall

Jackie Goodall, Chair, Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum

Jackie first became involved with the Forum in 2007 and has served as a Forum committee member twice.  She is particularly keen to see the Forum expand to include representatives from all Lincolnshire Heritage sites, and businesses closely connected with heritage tourism, from the smallest to the largest. The Forum has so much to offer, a welcoming and friendly membership, free advice, joint training sessions and is an important platform for celebrating excellence.

Prior to being in the fortunate position of being able to take early retirement Jackie taught children aged 5-16 in various schools, before leaving her final post as deputy head teacher to join her husband’s successful antique’s business. She still plans for a life of leisure but the time frame has slipped since she became a volunteer at Woodhall Spa Cottage Museum.

Jackie is also an active member of the village Chamber of Trade & Tourism, the heritage committee and the Neighbourhood Planning committee but still finds time for some gardening, walking, reading and leisurely lunches with friends.

Jackie says that retirement is busier than full time working ever was!
